London's council says no to arts center study
No 70-thousand dollar study after all on a new performing arts center for London. City council voted against spending the bucks last night, with most members saying now isn't the right time to do so.

London man stabbed, 3 others arrested
A 41-year-old man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in London's west end. It happened around 530 last night at an apartment on Wonderland near Westmount Mall. Three other men were arrested, but no word yet on charges.

Windsor GM workers reeling from plant closure news
G-M's transmission plant in Windsor will no doubt be a gloomy place today as staff deals with yesterday's news the plant is closing in about two years. That means 14-hundred people will lose their jobs.
