Aggressive Dogs Shot by London Police
London police are looking for the owner of 2 dogs who were shot to death by police this morning.
The dogs were shot after attacking and killing a cat and lunging at several people in an area of Old East.
Police were called to Elias Street near Elizabeth just before 6 this morning.
They say the dogs had killed a car, lunged at a man on a bike and chased a citizen who took shelter in his car.
Animal control was called in but was unable to capture the dogs.
One of the animals charged a police officer and was shot.
The dogs then headed west on Elias and one of them charged a woman, who was avoid being attacked by getting into her car.
Police eventually shot both dogs dead in a nearby railyard.
Police say the dogs appeared to have been abandoned and were in very poor condition.
