Last Minute Goal Gives The London Knights A Big Win

It was a night of firsts.  Scott Harrington's first goal of the season on the power play with 32.2 seconds remaining gave the London Knights a 5-4 win in Peterborough on Thursday night.  Chris Tierney found the net for the first time this season earlier in the game and then scored his second of the night as part of a three-goal third period for London.  It was the first time the Petes had led after 40 minutes and lost.

Seth Griffith scored his 10th of the season and Remi Elie picked up his second to round out the London scoring.

Brett Findlay of the Petes also scored his first of this year, which started a see-saw kind of game.  The Knights did not lead until the game winner on what was their first man advantage.

Jake Patterson made 31 saves for his second win of the season.  (They couldn't all be firsts).

London will host Plymouth on Friday at 7:30 at Budweiser Gardens.  Broadcast time on NewsTalk 1290 is 6:30.
