Former Mustang Fantuz Named Week's Top Canadian
It may have taken a game or two for Andy Fantuz to hit his stride in Hamilton, but he seems to be taking off now. The former Western Mustang has been named the CFL's Top Canadian this past week for his work in the Ti-Cats win over the Montreal Alouettes. Fantuz had eight catches for 136 yards and a touchdown.
Hamilton quarterback Henry Burris was named the CFL's Offensive Player of the Week. Joe Burnett of Edmonton continues to help the Eskimos flex their defensive muscle and was Defensive Player of the Week. Bomber's kicker Justin Palardy took the special teams honours.
