London's Urlin Wins APC Summer Showdown
There is nothing like finishing a race with NASCAR All-Stars in your rear view mirror. On Wednesday night, London's Jonathan Urlin crossed the finish line at Delaware Speedway ahead of local legend Steve Robblee and the Nationwide circuit's Travis Pastrana to capture the 2012 APC Summer Showdown. Michael Waltrip and Clint Bowyer also came north for the race, but both battled problems with their cars all night and spent the feature well back or in the garage.
One of the wildest nights belonged to the youngest driver in the race, Jaxson Jacobs. The 14-year old started the 60-lap Showdown in 17th place, but a brush with the wall sent him into the pits with two blown tires and moved him to the back. Undaunted, Jacobs ran his car all the way to 6th place, two spots ahead of his 19-year old brother, Marc.
