Knights Finish Whirling Weekend With Another Win
Three games of hockey in two and a half days is a lot to ask. The London Knights not only survived that kind of a gruelling weekend, they came away with five of six points after a 4-2 win in Sudbury on Sunday afternoon.
Olli Maata led the way with a goal and two assists for the London Knights. Alex Broadhurst picked up two assists for London. He now has four assists in his last two games. Bo Horvat, Matt Rupert and Brett Welychka also scored for the Knights, who improved their record to 7-3-0-1.
Kevin Bailie was back in net for London and made 35 saves.
London will travel to Peterborough on Thursday night to face the Petes before coming home Friday and Saturday against Plymouth and Guelph.
