Nats Help Flyers Slide into First
The London Nationals lost to Leamington 3-2 Wednesday night at the Western Fair.
The Nationals were down 3-0 to start the third - but something started to click in the final period. Noah Schwartz scored a power play goal and Jonathan Sims added one less than a minute later, but London couldn't get the tying goal past Flyers Goaltender Austyn Roudebush. Two of Leamington's goals came with the man advantage.
The win bumped the Flyers into first place, two points ahead of Chatham.
London is now .500 on the season with five wins and five losses.
