Bailie Big As Knights Beat Plymouth 4-1
Kevin Bailie knew he had big skates to fill stepping into the London Knights' crease this season. Through seven games, he has been up to the task and never moreso than Friday night at Budweiser Gardens. Bailie made 42 saves and helped the London Knights to a 4-1 win over the Plymouth Whalers. Bailie made 22 saves alone in the first period.
Offensively, the Knights got two goals from Bo Horvat and singles from Max Domi and Seth Griffith. Griffith also had two assists. Domi ended with a goal and an assist on the night.
London's penalty kill came up large, killing off 8 of 9 Plymouth power plays. Stefan Noesen scored the Whalers' lone goal as the puck trickled to him in the London crease.
The Whalers remain winless on the road this season.
The Knights will head to Oshawa on Sunday. Broadcast time on NewsTalk 1290 is 5:30.
