Nationals Win In Leamington
Aaron Dartch and Noah Schwartz helped the London Nationals end a three game winless skid with a 3-2 victory in Leamington Thursday night. Dartch scored twice, including the winner and Schwartz had three assists, giving him 18 points on the season. Schwartz leads all Western Conference scorers in the GOJHL.
Jonathan Sims scored the other goal for the Nationals, who improved to 4-2-2 on the season and now sit in a second place tie with Chatham and LaSalle. All three London goals came via special teams. Both of Dartch's goals were on the power play, while Sims scored short-handed.
Taylor Edwards was excellent in net, making 39 saves.
The Nationals face Cambridge in St. Catherines on Saturday.
