Mustangs Might Have To Open Door Number Three

The old game show "Let's Make A Deal" used to make a big deal about what was behind door number three.  If you went past number one and number two, that's what sat waiting for you.

The Western Mustang football team may have to open their own door number three this Saturday in Guelph and bring out third string quarterback, Blake Huggins.  With starter Donnie Marshall possibly out the rest of the regular season with an injured ankle, back-up Will Finch woke up feeling ill on Monday and ended up in hospital, having to undergo an emergency appendectomy.  He is listed as questionable for Saturday.

Huggins has been playing for the London Beefeaters this season and they are scheduled to play a playoff game in London against Montreal on Saturday.

There are similarities between the Western offense and the Beefeater offense which could aid Huggins if Finch can't go.

Note:  In the latest CIS rankings, the Mustangs come in at #7.  The McMaster Marauders continue to sit at #1.
