Nationals Dump Lincolns
If there is one thing that the Lndon Nationals have this season, it is veteran leadership. After a disappointing loss in their season opener on Wednesday, London was right back on track in St. Mary's on Sunday thanks to some of those vets. Noah Schwartz had three goals and an assist and Aaron Dartch added two goals and an assist as the Nats defeated St. Mary's 5-1.
London jumped out to a 2-0 lead before the game was 11 minutes old and kept the pace from there. The game did get a little nasty in the third period after Mike Siddall of the Lincolns received a game misconduct for checking from behind. That led to a fight between Tyler Bryden and Dean Pawlaczky and more game misconducts.
Taylor Edwards picked up the win in net for London, making 30 saves.
The Nationals are on the road on Wednesday because of the Western Fair as they face the Vipers in LaSalle.
