Three runs in the ninth inning made the difference for Kitchener on a steamy night at Labatt Park Friday. The Panthers knocked out the Majors with a 4-1 win in the game and a surprising 4-1 win in the first round of the IBL playoffs.  Mike Andrulis hit a key single that scored two runs and broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the ninth.  The Panthers added a third in the inning and then held off the Majors in the bottom half of the inning to complete the upset.

London entered the post-season as the second seed.  Kitchener was seventh.  The Majors point to a lack of timely hitting for their early exit.
