Majors Mauled In Kitchener

The playoffs can be a very different animal.  Right now the London Majors feel as though they are facing one as they tangle with the Kitchener Panthers in round one in the Intercounty Baseball League post-season.  After dropping the first game 8-4, London was pounded 9-1 in Game 2 in Kitchener on Sunday night.

The Panthers scored three runs in the third inning and added three more in the seventh and now lead the series two games to none.

Eric Cordova took the loss for London.

The Majors were the second best team overall during the regular season, while Kitchener was two games below .500.

Game 3 will be played Tuesday night at 7:30 at Labatt Park.
