A new track record was set in qualifying as Darrel Lake of London went around the oval in a time of 21.010. The previous track record had been held by Brad Clarke of Thedford and had stood since June 6, 2009.
In soccer, London City earned their second win of the season by beating St. Catherines 2-0 at Cove Road Field.
