The London Rippers lost a close one to Southern Illinois to open a three game series at home Monday night.

The Miners had a four run 1st inning off starter, Jamie Richmond. The Rippers managed to battle back closing the gap to 5-4 but that would be the final score - the Miners win Game One 5-4.

Game Two goes tonight 6:30pm at Labatt Park. Matt Sommo will start for the Rippers.
