	Local News Cab Driver Assaulted and in Critical Condition Jill Young 7/9/2012 A cab driver assaulted over the weekend and he remains in critical condition. It happened between 2:30 and 3am Saturday on Squirrel Island, the cab driver dropped off a fare and was assaulted at the time. He suffered life threatening injuries. A passerby found the cab driver around 7 am and contacted police. The driver was air lifted to London Health Sciences Centre where he remains in critical condition. Anyone with information regarding the people responsible for this is asked to call Walpole Island Police or the Lambton County OPP.
