The London Police Service responded to a residence on Westminister Drive for a collision involving an ATV last night around 6 pm. 

A 22-year-old London man, operating an off road vehicle on a private driveway, lost control and flipped his ATV, causing it to roll on top of him.

The man was transported to hospital with multiple lacerations and fractures, where he remains with non life threatening injuries. The man wasn't wearing a helmet at the time of the rollover.  

Police have charged the man with failing to wear a proper helmet. 

The London Police would like to remind the public to wear proper safety equipment when operating off road vehicles. The use of a proper helmet can help reduce the risk of serious injury in the event of a collision.
