The fall edition of Project LEARN by London Police has wrapped up and there is some good news coming out of it.
The number of criminal charges laid from last year to this year has dropped very slightly from 62 to 61, but it is a dramatic drop from what it was in 2009, which was 81.
The number of provincial offence notices issued went up from last year at over 1,300, to almost 2,300 this year.
Non-students accounted for 88 percent of the criminal charges and 44 percent of the provincial offences that were laid.
Police credit a strict no tolerance approach, electronic ticketing capabilities and additional officers in helping to make it a successful campaign.
