One Man Dead Following Early Morning Shooting

Around ten after 3 this morning, Police responded to the sound of gunshots in the area of Richmond St and King St. Upon arrival, police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to London Health Sciences Centre.
One man suffered a non life threatening gunshot wound and is in stable condition. His name will not be released. The other man died in hospital - his name won't be released until next of kin has been notified.
Seven people have been arrested for various offences. Police continue to investigate. The intersection of Richmond St and King St has been closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic and is expected to be closed most of the day.
