Private Member's Bill Being Introduced To Prevent "Gas and Dash" Thefts

A private member's bill aimed at stopping gas station attendants from getting killed on the job is being introduced at Queen's Park today.
Liberal M-P-P Mike Colle said at a news conference today, that his bill will require motorists to pay before they pump at gas stations, and it will prevent employees for having to pay out of pocket for ``gas-and-dash'' thefts during their shifts.
Colle says it will slap financial penalties on gas stations who force their employees to pay, and he also wants to see drivers convicted of stealing gas, receive license suspensions.
