Arsonist Under Evaluation Following Apartment Fire in St. Thomas

A 40 year old man has been arrested for an alleged arson in St. Thomas.
Thursday, shortly after 7:30 a.m. St.Thomas Police were called to a structure fire at 16 Celestine Street.
Fire damage was confined to one apartment unit is estimated to be around $60,000.
Police say the male is currently at the Regional Mental Health Centre for assessment.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
