The number of drowning deaths in the London area this summer is now at four after two children drowned at Port Burwell yesterday.
Rescuers apparently pulled a boy from the beach around 4 in the afternoon after a panicked girl told some swimmers her brother was drowning.
The boy was pulled from the water and given CPR.
The girl then said her sister was also in the water.
The sister was found but unresponsive.
A 7-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl from Glen Meyer, Norfolk County have been pronounced dead.
